Typewritten and signed letter, dated 20 Oct. 1894, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth. Brooks responds to Aylesworth's request for biographical information. Brooks tells Aylesworth where information can be found on his publications. Also included is the envelope in which the letter was send and a newspaper clipping describing the writing career of Brooks.

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter, dated 13 Nov. 1894, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth of Fort Collins, Colorado. Brooks responds to Aylesworth's request for biographical information by stating, "I don't like these personal questions for I cannot answer them satisfactorily." The envelope in which the letter was sent is with the collection. Also included is a handwritten and signed note dated 28 May 1892 in which Brooks states that the manuscript, "Take a Walk," is "Just the thing." ...
